Show some respect for women Randall. Get with the times, women are not sex objects, we deserve better.
Well Amie,
I am well ahead of the times, and I have lots of respect for women!!!
Anyhow, I was asked for a suggestion, and I gave it!!!
Where is your suggestion?

I'm guessing most women would not think of men staring at them in wet t-shirts as respectful. I am sure women are flattered that men desire them and want to look at them but not in that context. I am thinking you are single.
My suggestion for seaside festival is a bubble blowing contest for the kids - who can blow the biggest bubble with bubblegum!

Wow! A bubble blowing contest. That certainly will draw the crowds. How about something for adults.
There could be boat races in the harbour. Organize separate events for sailboats, powerboats, and paddle craft such as kayaks and canoes.
Or a scavenger hunt with certain items hidden in locations around town with clues identifying the location. It could be a team event with team names; Team Rovers, Team Pirates, etc.
Or, going along with Randall's theme, a bikini car wash.

Well Amie,
with all due respect...................................I did not make the suggestion to start an argument online with somebody!
But, any women who would partisipate in a Wet T-Shirt contest are not worried about being respected!
BTW, I am single.........................

OK................here we go..................the great debate on what is moraly acceptable, and/or considered offensive in the 21st century, and in todays society!
FYI, I do not see any nudity in the still picture of the video link I posted?
Now, if you willfully clicked on the link to the video, then one would assume that you give your personal consent to view the video's contents! Because nobody forced you to click on the video to view it!!!!!
BTW, I did NOT see any nudity in the video!!! All I saw were some girls having a great time in a contest, and you can view just about everything contained in that video on TV, or on our PUBLIC beaches!!

Perhaps Amie would not be so offended Randall, if there was an event for the ladies. No one likes to be left out
You are 100% correct Mike!!!!
She has every right to suggest, and/or take on the task of planning an event just for the LADIES in this festival!!!!

Tanya, I bet you didn't expect all this feedback!
I believe there is a time and place for just about anything. If these type of events are to be held, they need to be adult only! PS just go to Beer Garden and you might see anything!
Amie, I like your idea about bubble gum blowing contest. The kids would enjoy it. There is already boat show, amazing race and history sav. hunt.
Yes, Randall I do agree that women who participate in these types of contests choose to, but they are bombarded with the sexualization of being female from the moment of birth. I have a preteen daugther and I try to instill in her that everyone is a sexual being but it is not all she is or all she needs to be! Please take a look at this link :

My two cents!
