The idea of a Chat Room is probably an old one before I came along. But if not, I put it to the Admin/s and members: Would it not be effective, illuminating, for all attending to know what the present priorities of issues are, and all be willing to partake in assisting to solve the immediate needs of Sheet Harbour. This Chat Room would have a Monitor who would strictly enforce rules set up so as the Chat Room would not be monopolize by any one gender or self-interest person/group. I believe that in so doing, we can move ahead on any topic more quickly and easily. Not, necessarily solving a problem, but at least, we will all be on the same page in understanding and knowledge. This will give each of us, from the older members to the newer ones, the opportunity to make a greater effort in giving of ourselves to the betterment of the community, whereas some members would feel they have nothing to contribute. I would suggest that the Chat Room be open only on particular days. All members be allow to make suggestions of Topics before-hand. Admin/s would decide from amoung them of which are/is to be discussed and accept feedback from the members. There is not much value to the community or to themselves if members do not participate and give of themselves.
